Professional Women’s Roundtable Presents
Judy Harter named Winner of The 6th Joan Sparkman Unity AwardTEMECULA, CA – This year’s winner of The 6th Joan Sparkman Unity Award presented by The Professional Women’s Roundtable is Judy Harter. Other nominees were Julie Ngo and Rosie Wilson, two other amazing contributors to the community.
At Pechanga Grand Ballroom, on October 18, 2013, Keynote speaker Ann Jillian was both our inspiration and entertainment — the evening was magical. Donations from the community to create bountiful gift baskets drew silent auction dollars to help fund scholarships for young women.
Judy Harter is a woman in our community who goes above and beyond in service following in the footsteps of the exceptional Joan Sparkman.

Here are just a few of Ms. Harter’s community projects that are close to her heart
- Susan G. Komen Inland Empire Race for the Cure
- Temecula Balloon and Wine Festival
- United Ways Days of Sharing
- Menifee Race for Humanity
- Temecula Valley International Film Festival, Food and Beverage committee“From the very first moment I saw the Temecula Valley, I fell in love with it. This community is very family focused and the heart of giving that I discovered here amazes me. My real passion is for helping those who have given so much for our freedom, namely, our military, both Active and Veterans. My goal is to continue doing whatever I can to honor them and provide them with much needed assistance through All From the Heart’s various programs. I will strive to make a difference in their lives to thank them in a small way for all they have sacrificed.”
This is going to be our biggest and best event ever! Because it has grown so much, we are moving to the big lot across the street from Quaid Harley-Davidson Temecula in Old Town! Please contact us if you are interested in sponsoring, hosting and/or shopping for one of our honored military families!

All From the Heart was thrilled to honor 30 military families at the 9th Annual Support Our Troops Event with an exciting and fun day of celebration! From the exhilarating roar of the fly-by performed by the Red Eagle Flight Team, to the presentation of the colors by the ROTC, the Pledge of Allegiance led by Murrieta Mayor Doug McAllister, the National Anthem sung by Chuck Power a retired Marine, the American Creed recited by Don Krampe, to the solemn moment of silence for the men and women of the Armed Forces who gave all for us, it was a very patriotic beginning. A special thank you goes to Riverside County Supervisor Jeff Stone for directing the opening ceremonies.
All of the Honored Military Families and their hosts enjoyed live music by Guilty Conscience, the barbeque sponsored by Quaid Temecula Harley-Davidson and cooked to perfection by the Black Sheep Motorcycle Club. The Kids Korner was busy with craft making, cookie decorating, face painting by All Ways Entertainment and enjoying the bounce house provided by Jolly Jumps. And DJ/MC Michael Johnson of Midnight Magic DJ Service did a great job of keeping everything flowing smoothly including filling in with great music during setup in the morning and the band’s breaks.
The excitement reached a new level when Santa rolled in on his Harley! The children’s eyes were wide as they beheld his awesome entrance! The Honored Military Families were called up for photos with Santa and will each receive a special metal print gifted by Metalography in Old Town Temecula. After opening their gifts, a special surprise awaited as Santa and his helpers brought out brand new bicycles and helmets for every child sponsored by Navy Federal Credit Union!
Even the weather cooperated to make this day even more perfect! The drizzle from Friday and threatened showers predicted for Saturday evaporated as the sun continuously peeked through the clouds!
The final memorable moment of the day was the gifting of two power wheel chairs to veterans John Blackwell and Hank Hess by AFTH’s Wheels For Warriors program. As of this date we have gifted 128 power wheelchairs to veterans throughout Riverside, San Diego and San Bernardino counties, providing them with the freedom to live life more fully.
